Originally a manufacturer and supplier of furniture for ocean liners, cinemas, office and domestic furniture. The company became innovators in wood technology and design especially in pioneering laminated wood to shape chairs and tables. They played an important role in the manufacture of goods for the 2nd world war making amongst other things rifle butts and helicopter blades.
