This is a classic piece of Scandinavian mid-century design. A 1960s Amiral Coffee Table in Slate and Oak designed by Eric Merthen and produced by Ire Möbler in Sweden. It features solid oak frame with tapered, conical legs and a textured, riven slate top that provides both durability and a unique tactile quality.
