1960s Teak English Dry Bar Liquor Cabinet
This fabulous mid century bar cabinet was made in England during the 1960s. An exceptional vintage dry bar cabinet featuring beautifully figured book matched wood veneers, sculptural tapered legs with brass caps, and an incredibly unusual concealed bar compartment design. Closed, the cabinet presents as a refined minimalist case piece with elegant proportions and warm honey-toned wood grain.
The top opens outward in two hinged sections to reveal a dramatic illuminated mirrored bar interior with black and white checkerboard detailing and a glass display shelf. The interior includes integrated bottle storage and sculptural chrome hardware details mounted to each door, giving the piece an unmistakably atomic-age character. The combination of clean Scandinavian-inspired lines with playful mid-century cocktail-era detailing makes this an especially striking and uncommon example of 1950s–1960s furniture design.
