Mid Century Armoire by Austinsuite Furniture

This vintage mid-century armoire was produced by Austinsuite Furniture during the 1960s. Made from teak the two front doors slide open to reveal garment storage on the left and shelves on the right. Perfect for a bedroom or entryway, this armoire is a beautiful example of minimalist design.

Founded by in London by Herschel Lewis Austin and his three brothers, Austinsuite were respected makers of teak and afrormosia wood furniture manufactured by F. Austin Leyton Ltd. in the 50s and 60s made to a modern design influenced by 'Scandinavian style'.
