A stunning example of craftsmanship by Peter Hayward for Vanson Furniture, produced during the 1950s. The bar cart is typical of Vanson's craftsmanship, with sound construction and excellent Scandinavian influenced design.

Vanson furniture is defined by contemporary design and high end craftsmanship. British made Vanson furniture was produced by W.G Evans and Sons. It was aimed at the high end of the market with a focus on expertly crafted modernist design influenced by the Scandinavian aesthetic. British designer Peter Hayward was head of design and ensured the company remained at the cutting edge of contemporary furniture throughout the mid 20th century.
