Beautiful British mid-century credenza/buffet cabinet in richly figured walnut by Dalescraft. Showcasing the sculptural lines and organic forms associated with early 1960s modern design. The piece features four drawers with turned wooden pulls alongside a combination of sliding upper doors and lower cabinet storage, creating a balanced and highly functional layout.

The standout feature is the striking architectural base, with sharply tapered legs and curved stretchers that give the cabinet an almost floating appearance while adding a distinctly atomic-age silhouette. The piece works beautifully as a sideboard, bar cabinet, or media console. A sophisticated example of vintage British modern furniture with strong Scandinavian influence.

MAKER:
Dalescraft was a small, fashionable company based in Pudsey run by Malcolm David Walker who acted as both MD and designer. As a child Walker built model aircraft and later restored cars and boats. He was an accomplished cabinetmaker in his own right, which can have only aided his design talents.
