This tall credenza/buffet was produced by Turnidge of London in England during the 1960s. A wonderful modernist design and excellent storage piece, it has a beautifully shaped cabinet and a rich tone to the wood. Produced in teak, the credenza is typical of mid -century craftsmanship with sound construction and excellent Scandinavian influenced design. With ample storage space, consisting of a cabinet storage, drinks cabinet and three drawers, this piece is both stylish and functional, making it a desirable addition to any dining room, living room or bedroom.

MAKER:

'Turnidge of London' were a popular British furniture maker in the 20th century, hitting their peak during the 1960s and 1970s. They carved out a niche during the Mid-century period, opting not to make obvious dining room or bedroom furniture, instead choosing to make bars, display cabinets and bookcases.
