Mid Century Teak Display China Cabinet, England, 1960s
A handsome British mid-century display cabinet in warm teak, combining glazed display storage with concealed cabinetry in a compact, architectural form. The upper section features sliding glass doors with adjustable shelving, ideal for books, ceramics, or decorative objects.
Below, a pair of sliding wooden doors provides additional enclosed storage, finished with sculpted dark handles that add a subtle contrast to the teak. The gently angled sides and slightly recessed plinth base give the cabinet a distinctive profile, while the clean lines and restrained detailing are characteristic of British mid-century design.
A versatile and well-proportioned piece that works equally well as a bookcase, display cabinet, or dining room storage unit.
