This vintage vanity stool was by designed by IB Kofod Larsen for G Plan during the 1960s. Produced in solid afromosia wood, the frame a has a beautiful design and is typical of Larsen''s designs. Perfect for a vanity stool or perhaps, in the lounge as an extra seat or footstool.

MAKER:
Ib Kofod-Larsen was a Danish architect and furniture designer. He began his design career after gaining an architecture degree from the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen. In 1948, he opened his own design studio in Copenhagen and became an important representative of Danish Modernism, together with Kaare Klint, Hans J. Wegner, Børge Mogensen and Finn Juhl. He had prominent international success in the 1950s, where his Scandinavian work was manufactured globally in Europe and beyond including Japan and the US. Ib Kofod-Larsen was one of the most successful and best-selling designers in Europe and US.
