Stunning pair of mid century rocking pod chairs designed by Walter S. Chenery for Lurashell (Model - Gemini) c.1960.

These fantastic space age chairs have a wonderful organic shapes, upholstered in off-white boucle which is held in a black fiberglass shell. A highly unique and timeless design the teak base is made with a wonderful eye for detail and provides a nice, smooth rock. The design is most likely inspired by the Gemini star sign, as there are some resemblances in the shapes.
