This Mid century coffee table was produced by Stonehill Furniture in England during the 1960s.  With a minimalist design and beautifully shaped base it is a striking piece indeed.

CONDITION:
This fantastic coffee table is in excellent vintage condition. Please study the pictures carefully for a more accurate depiction and please get in touch if you have any questions.

MAKER:
Nathan Steinberg arrived in London from Tarnopol, Austria in 1895, aged 13. He worked as an apprentice cabinet maker and in 1910 set up his own business producing bedroom furniture. The company became Stonehill Furniture after the Second World War and a public company in 1964. The main factory was in Angel Factory Colony, Edmonton, north London, with several other factories including a former Co-op factory in Pelaw, Co. Durham. Nathan’s sons, Philip and Maurice Steinberg ran the business until their retirement in the 1980s.
